NetLab General Coordinator Participates in Senate Public Hearing on Social Communication in the 2026 Elections

Last Monday (June 1), researcher and General Coordinator of the Internet and Social Media Studies Laboratory at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (NetLab UFRJ), Débora Salles, took part in the Public Hearing on Social Communication in the 2026 General Elections, organized by the Social Communication Council of the National Congress in Brasília.


During her participation, Salles presented data from the research study "Electoral Integrity and Failures in the Governance of Digital Platforms", contributing to the discussion that brought together experts and industry representatives to examine the role of social communication in Brazil’s electoral process.
