NetLab UFRJ presents research at Intercom Nacional 2025

Last Wednesday (August 13), the Internet and Social Networks Studies Laboratory at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (NetLab UFRJ) participated in the remote stage of Intercom Nacional, in GP11 – Communication, Scientific Dissemination, Health, and Environment, a research groups that gathers studies on science, technology, and their interactions with society.
The extended abstract entitled “The Fabricator of Climate Controversies: Analysis of Ricardo Felício’s Columns in Revista Oeste” was presented at the event. The research analyzed how climate change denial discours is articulated in the media, highlighting the role of columnists and outlets in propagating controversies and disinformation.
