Objectives

The first part of the study aims to identify, describe, and analyze fraudulent advertisements containing scams and frauds selling miraculous, ineffective treatments that harm women's health, observing advertising on Meta's platforms (owner of Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and Audience Network).

The second part of the study aims to identify the monetization of misogynistic content by tracking and analyzing YouTube videos and channels. The advertisers who place ads in these videos and the value chain generated by the platform will also be mapped.
