According to article 49 of resolution 23,610, advertising for electoral content on the internet must only be taken out by candidates, parties, coalitions and party federations or persons who legally represent them. That is, candidates who are not running in the second round of the brazilian elections cannot advertise during this period.

Given this, the aim of this study is to identify active ads in the second round of the 2022 brazilian elections on Meta and Google platforms. Our focus was to map possible irregular advertisers in the second round according to the electoral law.
