Academy Day: for the 3rd time, Globo and the city of Rio host an international meeting to discuss the paths of the media markets

Three hundred businesspeople from various countries around the world are gathered in Rio de Janeiro for Academy Day, an international event that discusses the future of the media market.


The welcome dinner for the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences of the United States was held on Wednesday (2) at the Palácio da Cidade, one of the headquarters of the Rio de Janeiro City Hall, and celebrates the city as a setting for major events.


The Academy's traditional meeting, Academy Day, which is taking place this week in Rio, is one of the most important events in the audiovisual sector and brings together 300 businesspeople from the television sector from various parts of the world. The CEO of the Academy, Bruce Paisner, said that Rio is a very important city for the global economy and culture and brings together people from all continents, and also said that in Rio we celebrate Brazil and learn about what is happening in the media.
