A criminal organization led by minors who targeted other minors as victims. That is how the Rio de Janeiro Civil Police describe this group of young people committing crimes online across several states in Brazil. The goal of the second phase of Operation Safe Adolescence was to carry out five temporary detention orders today in the states of Minas Gerais, São Paulo, Santa Catarina, Paraná, and Mato Grosso do Sul. In Campo Grande, MS, it was still dawn when civil police officers took a teenager into the police car. According to the police, the suspects are believed to be involved in several cybercrimes, including attempted murder, incitement to self-harm and suicide, production and distribution of child pornography, advocacy of Nazism, and animal abuse.
