Mesa do debate do evento IA em Foco
This Thursday (28/04) Fernando Ferreira, a researcher from the Internet and Social Network Studies Laboratory at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (NetLab UFRJ), took part in the workshop “Artificial Intelligence in focus: Advances, Challenges and Responsibilities ”, organized by the UFRJ Technology Park.
Held at the Fundão Campus, there were experts representing UFRJ around the debate table, such as Claudio Miceli, Ivana Bentes and Angelica Dias, who debated the history of Artificial Intelligence (AI) from a range of perspectives, such as its creation and the risks and possibilities that the tool presents.
Ferreira presented the study ‘Uncovering Chat GPT’, providing a technical and chronological overview of the technologies that gave rise to Chat GPT. Additionally, he discussed some of the challenges and possible outcomes for AI and its continued development.
